Steel Stairs, Illuminated Guardrails, Wall Cladding, and Bridge Secondary Framing.
Norfab was awarded the Structural Stair stringers, elevator framing, and the miscellaneous metals on the North side Grierson Road. Miscellaneous metals scope and secondary framing on the Southside and connecting bridge structure.
The multiple Galvanized steel stringers that attached the lower elevation to the higher elevation were long span I beam complimented with integral plate work. The coordination involved to successfully allow for the glazing panel stations, precast seating panels, Kebony wood substrate, and illuminated hand railing made this both a challenging and rewarding project. The elevated bridge over Grierson road and on the south side, specifically adding substrates similar to the North, gave the River Valley experience a unique iconic physical appeal.
